Adoption of the Consensus Model for APRNs
The Nebraska Center for Nursing's strategic focus includes promotion of the value of the nursing profession, which includes Advanced Practice Registered Nurses (APRNs). The collaboration of all nurses, to build and maintain, and and expand the workforce to allow all APRNs full practice authority opens the door for equitable access and distribution of nurses. Adoption of the Consensus Model for APRNs will improve access to care in Nebraska. Read more here: https://nursingamerica.org. Nursing America is the campaign for adoption of the consensus model for APRNs. Please explore this page for links to activities in Nebraska to move toward adoption of the Consensus Model.
